HUTC is certified by the French civil aviation authorities and is the only helicopter pilot trainingschool recognised by the French Ministry of Education.

The FNPT II MCC type simulator fully complies with the JAR STD 3H European regulation. This tool contributes to reducing significantly the number of training flights on a real helicopter and complies with the JAR FCL 2 training programmes.

Helicopter used to round off the CPL training course.
This type of aircraft may also be used at various levels of training programmes such as FI, VDN, type rating and proficiency level statement.

Helicopter used for IR and ATPL training programmes as well as recurrent upgrade training and type rating.
The FNPT II MCC flight simulator

HUTC has acquired a generic MCC FNPT II MCC flight simulator representative of a twin-engine Ecureuil-type AS 355N in compliance with the JAR STD 3H norm.
Our training center is the only civil body that owns and utilises such a flight simulator.

The FNPT II MCC flight simulator is equipped for IFR flights. The main features are as follows:
- dual command system;
- a very efficient graphic screening system associated with a 160°x45° field of view allowing for a virtual display that can reflect several flight conditions such as :
- Day
- Night
- IFR
- Bad meteorological conditions
- Offshore helideck approach
- Night Vision Goggle database
- Simulation of various types of breakdown
- a twin-engine helicopter (AS 355N type) including all the necessary instruments for any kind of flights
- instruction compartment fitted with functions such as :
- Repositioning of the helicopter
- Map and helicopter path screening
- Flight replay
- Breakdown
- Meteorological conditions (storm, fog, visibility, turbulences, clouds, etc…)
audio restitution system.
A number of flight hours can be done on the MCC FNPT II simulator to complete training programmes at various levels of licences and qualifications. Therefore, this tool allows for a significant reduction of real training flights :
